Welcome to Goutos London. Our team is committed to ensuring that our patients experience the highest quality of care, ease of booking and transition through all stages of their healthcare journey with us.

Initial contact

We will endeavour to respond to initial enquiries within one working day and offer you the earliest possible appointment to meet in person. Tele-consultations are also available upon request and the team are happy to make the necessary arrangements to accommodate your preference for these. Please bear in mind that a face to face appointment may be deemed necessary on clinical grounds following initial contact.

What to expect from your consultation?

We take pride in providing 60 minute initial consultations, which we feel allow an in depth exploration of your condition, goals, as well as time to explore the psychological impact your condition and treatment may have on your wellbeing.

The structure of each initial consultation includes a detailed enquiry of your concerns and priorities for your treatment. You will be examined in the presence of a chaperone as applicable and standardised photographs will be obtained using our GDPR compliant software before any options for management can be discussed in detail.

Mr Goutos will then work in partnership with you to explore a variety of conservative, minimally invasive as well as surgical modalities for suitable treatment of your condition.

We welcome patients to do their research and also look at case studies with before/after photos of relevant treatment modalities. These are available for educational and illustrative purposes but should not be taken as an assurance of identical results as each person’s journey is unique to them.

Treatment

We place great emphasis on helping patients to determine the right timing for their treatment as well as the nature of any management plan. Patients who require any invasive surgical treatments are given the opportunity to return for a complimentary surgical planning session to allow for any further questions to be answered to aid their final decision-making during a ‘cooling off’ period. We endeavour to provide a detailed consultation letter and quote within five working days of the initial appointment via email using an encrypted patient database management system.

Aftercare

Detailed aftercare guidance is provided as part of your management journey before you undergo any treatment as well as immediately after each session. Depending on the nature of the procedure, you may receive written instructions or signposted to sections of our website for advice. The Goutos London team welcomes patients who wish to contact the office with any queries they may have during their patient journey with us.

Follow up

The nature of follow up varies considerably based on each individual’s management plan. Following the initial consultation, you will be advised as to the frequency of further appointments that are necessary to ensure you get the most optimal outcome.

  Mr. Goutos and his team did an amazing job reversing a scar I had on my forehead. This was a very old scar and had bothered for many years. The laser treatment and fat transfer procedure has changed my life and given me so much confidence. I would definitely recommend him, he is a fantastic and very skilled surgeon.   Mr Goutos and his team removed some lipomas from my arms. The initial consultation right through to the aftercare was professional, sensitive and genuine. Mr Goutos put me at ease right from the start, discussing my history and background and then discussing the various options for the incisions and sutures. The incisions were quick, efficient and professional. I felt completely at ease knowing I was in expert hands. The incisions were extremely neat and have closed and scared really well. I had a number of questions after the operation and one of the sutures became infected. Mr Goutos was quick to make an appointment for me, see me and deal with the infection and offered for me to see him again if the infection didn’t calm down. He was genuinely empathetic to my needs and took time to check each scare, explain things and assure me along the way. He didn’t at any point, make me feel I was asking silly questions or too many.

I highly recommend Mr Goutos for his exceptional incisions and suturing as well as his professional conduct, caring approach and after care. The whole experience was smooth and easy and I am very grateful for what he has done for me.

  We came to see Dr Goutos a few month ago to remove invasive spider nevus on my 9 year old sons nose . After a lovely consultation with Dr Goutos , he suggested to do several laser treatment sessions. After a few sessions we already noticed a massive improvement. On the final laser treatment session the spider nevus  was completely gone. Thank you to the Dr Goutos for tackling the problem so rapidly and with great results!

  We took our 4yr old daughter to Mr Goutos following an accident which resulted in a small burn scar on her cheek. Mr Goutos gave us various options and we went for laser treatment. After 4 appointments the scar has gone!
