Initial contact

We will endeavour to respond to initial enquiries within one working day and offer you the earliest possible appointment to meet in person. Tele-consultations are also available upon request and the team are happy to make the necessary arrangements to accommodate your preference for these. Please bear in mind that a face to face appointment may be deemed necessary on clinical grounds following initial contact.

What to expect from your consultation?

We take pride in providing 60 minute initial consultations, which we feel allow an in depth exploration of your condition, goals, as well as time to explore the psychological impact your condition and treatment may have on your wellbeing.

The structure of each initial consultation includes a detailed enquiry of your concerns and priorities for your treatment. You will be examined in the presence of a chaperone as applicable and standardised photographs will be obtained using our GDPR compliant software before any options for management can be discussed in detail.

Mr Goutos will then work in partnership with you to explore a variety of conservative, minimally invasive as well as surgical modalities for suitable treatment of your condition.

We welcome patients to do their research and also look at case studies with before/after photos of relevant treatment modalities. These are available for educational and illustrative purposes but should not be taken as an assurance of identical results as each person’s journey is unique to them.

Treatment

We place great emphasis on helping patients to determine the right timing for their treatment as well as the nature of any management plan. Patients who require any invasive surgical treatments are given the opportunity to return for a complimentary surgical planning session to allow for any further questions to be answered to aid their final decision-making during a ‘cooling off’ period. We endeavour to provide a detailed consultation letter and quote within five working days of the initial appointment via email using an encrypted patient database management system.

Aftercare

Detailed aftercare guidance is provided as part of your management journey before you undergo any treatment as well as immediately after each session. Depending on the nature of the procedure, you may receive written instructions or signposted to sections of our website for advice. The Goutos London team welcomes patients who wish to contact the office with any queries they may have during their patient journey with us.
